This is a list of inedible mushrooms. Some of these mushrooms may be considered “choice edible” but we err on the side of caution and list those types of mushrooms as inedible. There also may be some mushrooms you considered edible but are not yet scientifically confirmed as edible.
Some of these mushrooms might have medicinal properties, but aren’t as accepted as a medicinal mushroom, so we classify them as inedible.
This list is to be used for educational purposes and is not to be used in place of a field guide, in person guide or a medical doctor.
