Wonderful Info on this common mushroom. Did not realize that it was such a medicinal jewel. Right now have one big specimen growing on back lawn and am waiting for it to mature to make positive ID before consuming young specimens….

Wow! I had no idea the delicious and irresistable shaggy mane was so beneficial to my health! I will continue to hunt out this particular fungi and eat all that I find. Thank-you for the information.
